Mourinho targets Gerrard to lead the Galacticos
A week after accepting the coveted position of manager of Real Madrid, Jose Mourinho has now set his min on bringing in some MORE fresh, new talent. One of the people (yes, we know, not so fresh and new) he is aiming to bring to the Bernabeau is Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard. Madrid president Florentino Pérez has given the okay on this move, and Christian Purslow, Gerrard's agent, has said that this decision will be left entirely up to Stevey G himself. The idea of playing for the Spanish giants would be very tempting, and Gerrard has admitted that he may want to leave Anfield following the departure of Rafa Benitez. If Gerrard should sign for Real, he will be checked off along a posible Maicon, who Mourinho has down as one of his all-important summer signings. If both players are signed, they may be playing cards together on the plane trip over to Spain.
